NeoCampus Grasse: A new student dynamic in the heart of the city
The NéoCampus Grasse project embodies the transformation of the former Grasse prison into a vibrant place dedicated to student life. This initiative is part of an overall strategy led by the Communauté d'Agglomération du Pays de Grasse (Grasse Urban Community), aimed at strengthening higher education and revitalizing the city center of Grasse.
The goal is ambitious: to create a true student district in the heart of Grasse, with modern infrastructure tailored to the needs of young people. The former courthouse, closed since 1998, has been renovated to accommodate more than 500 students in a 3,000 m² space. This iconic location now houses prestigious schools and contributes to the city's appeal. By 2025, the former gendarmerie will also be transformed into an extension of the campus, accommodating even more students.
A vision for the future
The NéoCampus project is much more than an urban development: it is a strategic vision for the influence of Grasse. It helps to attract young people, boost the local economy, and enhance the architectural heritage of the city. With refurbished public spaces and modern infrastructure, the city center is being transformed into a place where it is good to study, live, and thrive.
Thanks to this initiative, Grasse is positioning itself as a key player in the higher education landscape, attracting talent and projects to a unique environment.
