Paramedic assistants play a vital role in the healthcare continuum, ensuring that patients are transported under optimal conditions of safety, comfort, and care. Offered through Grasse Campus in partnership with AFTRAL-IFA, this vocational training program equips participants with the essential skills needed to work in the medical transport sector. Through a curriculum that combines theory, simulated scenarios, and hands-on practice, students prepare to provide effective care to patients while adhering to regulatory requirements and safety protocols.
Acquire the skills necessary to work as a paramedic assistant.
To ensure safe and appropriate care for patients during medical transport.
Master emergency procedures and best professional practices.
Obtain the Level 2 Certificate in Emergency First Aid and Care (AFGSU 2), which is required to practice the profession.
Assess a patient's clinical condition before and during transport.
Perform the appropriate emergency procedures, either alone or as part of a team.
Follow the rules for hygiene, infection prevention, and health and safety.
Ensure the safe handling, positioning, and transport of patients.
Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
Drive an ambulance in accordance with safety rules and emergency response protocols.
Ensure the dissemination of information and the administrative management of medical transportation.
