BTS in Bioanalysis in Control Laboratories
The Senior Bioanalysis Technician in a Quality Control Laboratory contributes to the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality control.
These activities involve handling chemical or biological substances as well as using laboratory equipment.
They require techniques in the fields of biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, and molecular or cellular biology.
Career opportunities are primarily found in testing, research, development, and production laboratories within the agri-food, pharmaceutical, fragrance, flavor, and cosmetics industries, as well as in forensic laboratories (customs, police), and veterinary and environmental testing laboratories. It is also possible—although this is not the primary goal—to join public research and medical analysis laboratories.
The BTS in Bioanalysis for Quality ControlLaboratories provides training in the mastery of analytical techniques in accordance with thelaboratory’s workload plan (in analytical biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, or cell biology), as well as in ensuring the compliance of analyses, thereby enabling students to report results accurately.

As part of the academic program, students complete a 14-week internship spread over the two years: 6 weeks in the first year and 8 weeks in the second year.
