The CAP in Aesthetics, Cosmetology, and Perfumery is a Level 3 state-recognized diploma that provides students with all the fundamental skills needed for careers in the beauty and wellness industries. The goal of this program is to help students master essential techniques such as facial, hand, and foot treatments; hair removal; makeup application; and nail care.

It also helps students develop diagnostic skills so they can offer services tailored to customers’ needs and expectations. Students are trained in customer reception, personalized consultation, the sale of cosmetics, and customer follow-up. They also acquire essential scientific knowledge (anatomy, physiology, dermatology, cosmetology) and learn the rules of hygiene, safety, ergonomics, and work organization. The program prepares students for successful entry into the workforce through a combination of training at the educational institution and on-the-job training at a company, and enables them to develop the technical, interpersonal, and professional skills required in the beauty industry.

Holders of the CAP primarily work in beauty salons, perfume shops, or spas. They perform beauty treatments, advise clients, assist with product sales, and help ensure the smooth operation of the business.
