STATE CERTIFICATE FOR PARAMEDICS (DEA)
The State-Certified Paramedic Program trains healthcare professionals who specialize in medical transport and patient care. Offered as a work-study program, this vocational training provides students with the technical, interpersonal, and regulatory skills necessary to safely care for people of all ages.
Combining theoretical instruction, clinical rotations, and workplace experience, the program prepares students for a vital role in the healthcare system and offers numerous opportunities for career entry.
Acquire the professional skills necessary to work as a paramedic.
Earn the State-Certified Paramedic Diploma, recognized by the Ministry of Health.
Develop the technical, interpersonal, and organizational skills required in medical transport.
Promote rapid entry into the workforce through work-study programs.
Provide patient care and transportation while ensuring their comfort and safety.
Collect clinical data and perform emergency care procedures.
Drive an ambulance, adjusting your driving to the patient's condition and in accordance with traffic safety rules.
Ensure the maintenance of medical equipment and the ambulance.
Work in collaboration with medical and paramedical teams.
Provide the information necessary to ensure continuity of care.
Participate in the quality assurance process and follow health protocols.
A 12-month work-study program.
801 hours of training, including:
– 556 hours at a training institute (IFA).
– 245 hours of clinical internships.

A Class B driver's license for at least 3 years (or 2 years of supervised driving);
medical and prefectural certification to drive an ambulance;
medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications;
Up-to-date mandatory vaccinations.
