Unlike diplomas, which merely attest to a student’s academic level and background, a certified credential provides assurance that the holder is ready to contribute immediately in the workforce.

Level Level 4 of the RNCP lists the certifications for high school diploma level. These include the general baccalaureates¸ vocational , technological, the legal expertise, the DAEU and vocational certificates. 

In addition to these certifications is the Brevet des Métiers d’Arts and the National Diploma in Career Guidance. These certifications are specific to professional activities in the arts.
