Founded more than 50 years ago on the initiative of Jean-Jacques Guerlain, a renowned perfumer, ISIPCA is a leading institution in the fields of perfumery, cosmetics, and flavors.
The school currently offers programs in four areas of study, including the three main sectors: Perfume , Cosmetics , and the Flavors and Sales in the Luxury Fragrance and Cosmetics Sector. Its mission is to impart to French and international students—as well as industry professionals—French expertise that is unique in the world, in the fields of scientific, technical, marketing, and sales applications.
ISIPCA’s DNA—and what sets it apart—is its focus on teaching a specific area of expertise: olfaction—that is, the ability to memorize scents, describe them, and combine them to create new fragrance blends. ISIPCA’s professional curriculum is based on knowledge of raw materials, mastery of formulation, analysis, and quality control techniques, as well as an understanding of consumer needs.
