The BTS is part of the LMD system within the studies leading to a bachelor's degree, which promotes pathways mainly to professional bachelor's degrees. It requires the acquisition of 120 European credits.

The BTS is prepared in the advanced technician section of a high school.

This program, which is open to students who have completed high school or its equivalent, provides specialized instruction. It includes one or more internships in a company. Students can earn a professional degree in two years.

In the Pays de Grasse region, seven institutions prepare students for the Brevet de Technicien Supérieur (BTS) diploma, which, once obtained, provides direct access to professional life or further higher education.

An integrated preparatory cycle is also offered.

Finally, two institutions prepare learners for a Level 5 certified qualification, equivalent to two years of higher education.
