Holders of a BTS (advanced vocational training certificate) in SME Management work directly with the manager or senior executive of a small or medium-sized enterprise (5 to 50 employees).

His work is characterized by a high degree of versatility with a focus on administration: managing customer and supplier relations, human resources management and development, organizing and planning activities (meetings, travel, events, etc.), resource management, business continuity, risk management, and global communication. He participates in these activities by performing monitoring, tracking, and alert functions in particular.

Given their position as an internal and external interface, they must develop strong interpersonal skills. The assistant has a degree of autonomy and scope for delegation that varies depending on the company, the manager, and their own experience. Their level of responsibility may increase over the course of their career.

The BTS in SME Management is open to anyone with a high school diploma:

vocational baccalaureate, STMG baccalaureate, general baccalaureate.
