A word from the President of CAPG

"Our approach is designed to be consistent and coordinated with the Nice School District."

We hope you find this site useful in your research and that it provides you with a clear overview of the training courses available in our region. As you know, the Pays de Grasse boasts an exceptional geographical location and major cultural, economic, and heritage assets.

Since 2015, the region has been pursuing a proactive strategy to develop higher education and research.

With the creation of a Higher Education and Research Development Department (DESR) and its multi-site GRASSE CAMPUS, the Urban Community has established an efficient structure for both host institutions and students. host institutions and students.

Since its launch in September 2018, GRASSE CAMPUS has been contributing to the operational implementation of regional training policy and providing support services to learners and host institutions.

To support learners in building their own futures, we wanted to offer them secure pathways and a rich and attractive range of training courses in line with the expectations of the world of work. The coming years will reflect our ambitions and efforts to make the Pays de Grasse a land of knowledge and transmission.

Our approach is designed to be cohesive, in consultation with the Nice Academy Rectorate, the experimental Université Côte d'Azur, and academic partners—schools and research organizations—in the region. We can also congratulate ourselves on the proactive collaboration of players in the economic world and institutional partners who are helping us to create the regional campus we dream of for the Pays de Grasse.

Editorial by the President of the Université Côte d’Azur

“The Pays de Grasse Urban Community has made higher education a key focus of its development strategy.”

The Pays de Grasse Urban Community has made higher education a major focus of its development strategy. This ambitious goal is a sign of modernity for a region that is home to a century-old industry, known worldwide, and which accounts for more than 50% of the national capacity in this sector.

By bringing together the major players in education, research, and innovation alongside local industry stakeholders around GRASSE CAMPUS, the Communauté d'Agglomération du Pays de Grasse is creating the conditions for a real acceleration in its growth by directly involving students, teachers, and researchers in the best possible conditions.

For its part, Université Côte d’Azur has opted for a strategy of co-construction of its territory with political and socio-economic actors, drawing on the key sites of the Côte d’Azur. Grasse and its perfume, flavor, and cosmetics industry is obviously one of these. It is within this framework that the experimental institution focuses its action in Grasse around its Institute for Innovation and Partnerships in Aromas, Perfumes, and Cosmetics, whose mission is to create synergies between the private sector, public institutions, and research.
It is within this framework that the experimental establishment is focusing its activities in Grasse around its Institute for Innovation and Partnerships in Flavors, Fragrances, and Cosmetics, whose mission is to create research and development synergies with the Grasse ecosystem and to accelerate the creation of new training programs that meet the needs of businesses.

This dynamic is reflected in a commitment to initial training in the field of flavors and fragrances, with a professional Master's degree, a Master of Science (MSc), but also in continuing education by facilitating the resumption of studies and the recognition of prior learning, and by providing working people with the opportunity to continuously acquire the new skills they need.

Finally, one of the roles of the University is to attract new talent, particularly foreign students and researchers, thereby providing the Grasse region with the new skills it needs to maintain the national and European leadership that this sector has enjoyed for decades.
