An opportunity for all types of candidates
The Erasmus+ program is aimed at a wide audience: students, apprentices, job seekers, teachers, trainers, schoolchildren, and even volunteers. Open to everyone, it offers the opportunity to spend time in Europe — or even abroad — for the purpose of learning, training, or sharing experiences.
More Than Just a Student Program
Contrary to popular belief, Erasmus+ is not limited to students. It is open to anyone who is in training, on a work-study program, in an apprenticeship, or seeking experience abroad, as long as the mobility is motivated by an educational or professional goal.
Studying or Training Abroad
Whether you’re pursuing a BTS, a bachelor’s degree, a BUT, a master’s degree, a doctorate, or are enrolled in a business school, engineering school, or nursing school, you can participate in the
Erasmus+ program.
Mobility opportunities are also available for work-study programs, starting in the first year of study.
The study abroad experience is recognized as part of the degree program in France. An Erasmus+ grant may be awarded under certain conditions.
How do I apply?
The first point of contact should be your institution’s international relations office or, for BTS students,the Advisor for European and International Affairs (ERAEI).
They will introduce you to partner institutions or explain the steps to follow for an internship, and will guide you through each step.
Duration of Mobility Programs
Erasmus+ mobility periods can last from 2 to 12 months per academic cycle.
Shorter mobility periods, ranging from 5 to 30 days, are also possible if they include a virtual component: these are known as hybrid mobility periods.
Preparing Your Erasmus+ Project
A mobility project requires advance planning. It is recommended that you begin planning your departure 6 to 12 months in advance by selecting a host institution or internship site that aligns with your academic path.
