This morning at Grasse Campus, at the Palais Jérôme Viaud, CAPG President Jérôme Viaud signed an agreement for the CNAM (Conservatoire national des arts et métiers) to join the GRASSE CAMPUS services with Ms. Laure VERGER, Regional Program Manager, representing Ms. Bénédicte FAUVARQUE COSSON, General Administrator of the CNAM.

The CNAM is the only institution of higher education dedicated to lifelong vocational training.

Founded in the midst of the French Revolution, the CNAM is a higher education institution that is unique in our country due to its history, its heritage, and the scope of its network—both regionally and internationally.

A few months ago, the multi-year territorial agreement signed between the CAPG and the CNAM signaled the future development of higher education programs in our region.

Today, we are formalizing an initiative launched in May 2019 during the CNAM plenary session, attended by Patricia Fresneau, Regional Director of CNAM PACA, and Rollon Mouchel Blaisot, Prefect and Director of Action Cœur de Ville.

In 2021, the CNAM developed a training program in our region in partnership with the Francis de Croisset High School, focusing on the culinary arts. The Francis de Croisset High School, along with 22 other academic partners, is a host institution for Grasse Campus.

With more than 800 students this year, the campus is expanding into new fields of study and developing new programs, thereby fostering cross-pollination with the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Starting in the 2023 academic year, CNAM Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur will launch a “Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Project Management.” This program aims to train future professionals in the design of tourism products, business development, marketing positioning, and digital strategy, while addressing all the challenges associated with a sector undergoing rapid change and transformation.

This bachelor's degree program is an opportunity for our region, and will clearly meet the needs of both our local partners and the region in terms of employment by training competent and qualified students.

We welcome the CNAM to the site of the former courthouse, within the educational ecosystem of the Grasse region, just a stone’s throw from Villa St. Hilaire and our beautiful media library.
