A Key Milestone for Higher Education: Signing of an Agreement Between the Pays de Grasse and the CROUS Nice-Toulon

Today marks a turning point for higher education in the Pays de Grasse region. Jérôme Viaud, President of the Pays de Grasse Urban Community, welcomed Mireille Barral, Executive Director of CROUS Nice-Toulon, to formalize a promising partnership through the signing of an innovative agreement.

Two strategic priorities at the heart of this agreement:

1. Social Services and Student Support
The CROUS will play a key role in supporting students in the Pays de Grasse through its assistance programs. This collaboration aims to improve the information and support offered to young people in order to promote their success.

2. Expansion of Dining Options
An ambitious project is set to launch soon: the opening of a cafeteria in the Grasse Campus 2 expansion. Offering varied, balanced, and affordable meals, this initiative complements the snack options already available at Grasse Campus 1. The goal? To enrich student life and meet students’ dietary needs with tailored menus.

Jérôme Viaud made a point of warmly thanking Mireille Barral and the CROUS teams for their expertise and dedication, as well as the staff of the Urban Community and the Grasse Campus department for their outstanding work.
